Caressa Cameron Miss America 2010
It was a magical night at the Staples the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas as a new Miss America was crowned. The Winner was Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron. It took her four attempts to become Miss Virginia, but only six months later Virginia Commonwealth University student Caressa Cameron has been crowned Miss America. Miss California was the first runner up, while Miss Louisiana took out third spot.
The competition featured representatives from all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The pageant started out with 53 contestants but Cameron, from Fredericksburg, Virgina beat her opponents after a series of competitions in swimsuit, evening gown, talent and interview categories.
